- Editor's Notes
- Referring to yours of 30th ult I wrote you a short time back enclosing a letter from Babcock & Wilcox with relation to the trouble you have with wet steam. I asked you to have the matter fixed & charges debeted to me but I heard nothing from you as to the matter. If there is any other trouble with your Boiler it is of course but reasonable that it should be fixed up at my expense. I have not however got a Staff to enable me to make the repairs myself & I should therefore much rather make you an allowance on the account & have your Company fix the Boiler up. If this is agreeable to you please let me have your views as to what allowance I should make.##Kindly oblige me by replying promptly as I am anxious to close out the account as early as possible
