Referring to yours of 27th ult I am much obliged to you for the enclosures about Japan.##With relation to Carbon Buttons do you [---] that you would like some with the surface of the Lamp Black plates. This is somewhat difficult as the buttons will absorb the portion by capillarily I will try it however if you say so
