- Editor's Notes
- Your favor of 11th inst came duly to hand. I am sorry that the experience of your Company should have been such as you state. So far as I was concerned I fixed everything up with a view to meeting your wishes notwithstanding that the alterations and extension I made involved me in a heavy loss. The understanding which my representative arrived at with you last February was that after the charges had been made my bill should be paid. I fulfilled my part of the arrangement and although upwards of ten months has elapsed your Company has failed to fulfil their part viz pay the balance on my account.##I cannot afford to be so long out of my money & must ask you to send me a check immediately
