- Insull, Samuel to Ansonia Brass & Copper Co and Cowles, Alfred Abernethy: Referring to yours of 26th inst Mr W. Preston Hix is the Southern Agent of the Isolated Co with [Herr] [Durrtens] at So Paris. He is by far the best Agent they have having made this year the largest amount of Sales notwithstanding that most agents have far better territory. Mr [H-----] to turn an Electrical Supply Depot in connection with his Agency for the Isolated Co & it is the intention of our manufacturing companies to sell him such goods as he requires. Although Mr Hix is by no means a capitalist he certainly holds a thoroughly good position & personally I should have no hesitation in employing him with goods as he might [desire] of course of course being careful to see that the amount did not run up too high
