- [LB020052A], Letter from Samuel Insull to Charles Batchelor, January 26th, 1885
- Editor's Notes
- Dredge, of “Engineering”, is going to publish a third volume on “Electric Illumination”. Edison thinks that it would be a good idea for you to have cuts of your new standard machines sent over to England for insertion in the book. I am now finding out how late they will be able to receive the cuts. Will you please let me know how soon it would be possible for you to have photographs ready of each new standard machine, so as to enable me to have the cuts made?.”
