- Referring to your favor of the 14th . February, which came to hand after Mr. Edison had left for Florida and whilst I was sick abed, I will state that I cannot find that anything has been done with relation to plating the carbon buttons which you ask for. Mr. Edison before he went away promised to have the buttons plated for you, but I imagine he must have overlooked the matter. Directly he comes coback I will draw his attention to it. I do not expect him here for a least a month. I will request Messrs. Bergmann & Co. to send a copy of their catalogue to you.”
