“Your favor of the 25^th . ulto. came to hand whilst I was sick abed. The books you refer to were gotten up by the much abused Construction Dept., and are extremely useful. We have some of them on hand, and will supply you with them if you so desire. The set consist of a book of questions and answers on the various mechanism in a central station, also a set of questions by themselves, which we give to local men to answer by way of an examination to find out whether they understand the business which they are to take charge of.”
