Title
[LB020257A], Letter from Samuel Insull to Theodore Waterhouse, May 5th, 1885
Editor's Notes
"Can you possibly get me a copy of the articles of association of the Edison Telephone Co., of London, and also a copy of the original agreement between Mr. Edison and E.P. Bouverie and others (being the agreement on which the Edison Telephone Co. was formed), and a copy of the agreement between the Edison Telephone Co., the Bell Telephone Co. and a Trustee for the United Telephone Co., this agreement being the one on which the Amalgamated Telephone Co. was formed. I am not sure whether Mr. Edison was a party to this last agreement. I want these various documents in connection with some matters which have recently turned up here, and if you can possibly get copies for me, you will be doing both Mr. Edison and myself a favor."
