Title
[LB020421], Letter from Samuel Insull to Erastus Wiman, July 22nd, 1885
Editor's Notes
Yours of the 19th inst. Came duly to hand and I also received Mr. Wilburs letter (which I now return) & which was sent to Goerck St. ## I think the best way would be for us to pay by the mile as Mr. Wilber suggests. ## I have sent our mechanical Supt. (Mr. Ott) to Staten Island today to start work. ## Of course Mr. Edison will put the cars back in exactly the condition they are. At first we shall only want one car---- later we may possibly require a second car (?). In addition to the amount of 1.5 cents per mile for drawing the car what [------ ------ ------] will have to pay for the car. This is not clear in Mr. Wilbur's letter.
