- Editor's Notes
- I return you herewith Tate's letter to Mr. Dwight and the press copy of Mr. D's letter to his managers. ##I do not want you to bear any of Mr. Tate's expenses and I have written him to reimburse Mr. Dwight. ##I was unable to accept your invitation to the {-----} Game{?} as I was very busy with some experiments at the laboratory. ##I desire most heartily to thank you for the very kind reception you gave my friends and myself at the recent exhibition of the Railway Telegraph apparatus. I am now having the commercial instruments made for use at future trials.
