- Editor's Notes
- We duly received your esteemed favor of the 10th inst. and also received a call from Mr. Phelps, representing the Western Electric Co. You will notice in the approval of your assignment to the Western Electric Co., which I send you herewith, that Mr. Edison consents to the transfer upon condition that the $600{?} balance due shall be applied to the payment of royalties due on the foreign pen sales. Can you give me any idea as to what these foreign pen sales royalties amounted to? Of course the matter of the transfer of the 25 shares of the Edison Telephone Co. of Europe stock is simple enough. Please return copy of assignment with your remarks.
