- Title
- [LB021162A], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Drexel Morgan & Co, December 9th, 1885
- Editor's Notes
- Referring to my letter of even date addressed to the Liquidator of the Edison Electric Light Company of London (Limited) with relation to B shares, of the net amount of shares coming to me (after paying my proportion of shares going to Geo. E. Gouraud and Edwd. H. Johnson), I desire ten per cent issued to Charles Batchelor and five per cent to Francis R. Upton. Inasmuch as you state that it is desirable that the whole block of shares should be left in London, I think it would be well in order to get the matter closed up, for you to address letters to Geo. E. Gouraud, Edward H. Johnson, Charles Batchelor, Francis R. Upton and myself stating how many shares you hold (through your London friends) for the account of each one of us.
