- Referring to your favor with relation to your son, I beg to state that I never went to school. I gained all my experience in actual work, first as a train boy, then as a telegraph operator, and later on as an electrical experimenter. The best thing you can do with your son is to let him keep on experimenting, and if there is anything in him it will come to the top. Yours very truly,
