- I enclose letter from Charles T. Porter asking if we can give him something to do. He is in very many respects a very good man. I do not know whether you can use him at all in connection with the uptown construction work. As to his capabilities, Mr. Emery should be a very good judge, and I would suggest that you communicate with him in relation thereto. ## I feel quite a great deal of sympathy for Mr. Porter, as I should imagine from his letter that he needs a position badly.
