Referring to your favor of October 12th. The machinery which I have was sent to my works for the purpose of enabling me to make experiments on carbons for the advantage of the Mountain City Manfg. Co. My arrangements were made with Mr. George R. Markle. I am still continuing these experiments. I have no wish to purchase the machinery, and will have it forwarded to my address that you may indicate.
