- I took these notes to the Germania as instructed in your telegram. The cashier examined endorsement and made as comment, stating only they would be considered tomorrow morning and they would telephone me at {illegible} asleep.## The omission of the Lamp Company's endorsement is entirely my fault. I should have obtained Mr. Edison's signature. I trust that the inconvenience this may cause you will not be serious. ## Mr. Edison left last night for special care. A telegram from Richmond, Va this morning announces their safe arrival at that {illegible}.
