I was notified by the Germania Bank today that Mr. Edison's a/c was overdrawn and upon sensing to them and having our book made up he found you had on the 22nd inst. Drawn a check to you for $2000 omitting to notify this office of the {illegible} ## I have explained in another letter how I arranged to cover the overdraft and would suggest that to prevent a reoccurance of what has formed (?) a serious oversight and might prove still more serious you have recourse to some stystematic arrangement for issuing notices to this office when it is found necessary to check on Mr. Edison's a/c from Schenectady.
