In reference to your letter of the 2d instant, I cannot at the moment name a day upon which the paper I referred to can be completed. It will depend altogether upon how work on my new Laboratory progresses during the next month or two. If I can find time to contribute this paper I will be happy to do so, but it is contingent upon the completion of my new buildings, as until they are finished my time will be wholly taken up with work connected with them.
