Title
[LB025478], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to E Dueretet, November 12th, 1888
Editor's Notes
Mr. Edison has received your letter under date 19th ultimo. In reply he desires me to state taht the apparatus for carbon buttons is at present dismantled. He expects however to get it working again soon, in order to supply some necessary carbons for apparatus to be exhibited at the Paris Exposition, he will see that you are furnished with some.##Referring to that portion of your letter concerning the phonograph, it would be necessary for you to communicate with Col. George E. Gouraud, Little Menlo, Upper Norwood, Surrey, England, who controls the machine in Europe. I am sending you by this mail a photograph of Mr. Edison, upon which I have had him place his autograph.
