- Editor's Notes
- "I beg to confirm my telegram of this morning to the effect that I had important orders from the Brd. ### They want one circuit in New York, immediately after which they will want work done in Chicago and other points in the West. ### I hope you will be able to leave those Penna [unclear] in good condition. We will be ready soon to furnish a reliable battey. Mr. Edison is engaged now in adapting his new battery to our system, and we will equip the PRR at the earliest possible moment. Meanwhile ask your friend to bear with us." Yours truly, AO Tate
