"The late Edison Wiring Co. performed certain work in connection with the wiring of Mr. Edison's house in Llwellyn Park. [unclear] for which we have not yet received [unclear] over there [unclear] off the Edison Wiring Co. you house yourselves done certain work which like the former has not yet been killed [unclear]. ### The whole of the work above referred to was made necessary an amount of the gross receipts [unclear] of the Messrs. Noll Bros. Who preceded the Edison Wiring Co. in connecting with the work in question. Our inspector reports as follows: [quote follows] The class of work done at Mr. Edison's house by the Noll Bros. Is one of the worst jobs of 'skin' work I ever experienced. ### As the Edison Wiring Co. assumed the business of Messrs Noll Bros and you are the successors of the former I beg to notify you that I shall on behalf of Mr. Edison make claim against you for the whole of the work done by yourselves and the Wiring Co. ### I advise you this early so that you may be enabled to protect yourselves in the discharge of obligations you may be [unclear] to respectable [unclear] in the liquidation of the Edison Wiring Company business." Yours truly, A.O. Tate
