Title
[LB026265], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Samuel Insull, June 4th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"On Friday last, in response to an invitation from Mr. Edison the President and several of the Directors of the Germania Bank, [unclear] visited the Laboratory. I met them at the depot and [unclear] them to the Laboratory where we had a very tempting lunch spread from [unclear]. They were shown all through the Laboratory after which Mr. Edison entertained them in the Library with the Phonograph. They were all delighted with what they saw – particularly the President who says he is coming out again very soon with some more of his friends." A.O. Tate [Marginalia: "I thought you might be interested in learning the above !!]
