Title
[LB026270], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to George Westinghouse, Jr., June 12th, 1888
Editor's Notes
"I have received your letter under date 7th inst. In regard to a recent conversation which I had with Doctor Moses. When the Doctor introduced his subject I found myself in a position which now appears to be the same as that occupied by himself—namely, without the necessary authority which would render a discussion of the questions of any practical value to your Company [unclear] the Edison Electric Light Company. ### My Laboratory work consumes the whole of my time and precludes my participation in directing the business policy of the latter Company and when matters connection therewith are brought before me I can only refer them to the officers authorized to deal with them. ### Thanking you for your kind invitation to visit you in Pittsburg I am" Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
