- Editor's Notes
- "In reference to your letter of 17th instant, addressed to Mr. Edison, I beg to inform you that the same has been referred to the Edison United M'f'g. Co., No. 65 Fifth Avenue, New York City, which has charge of the merchandising of appliances connected with the Edison Electric Light, [unclear handwritten]. ### I notice in your article on Mr. Edison that you refer to his father as having died in 1884. This is a mistake. Mr. Edison's father is not dead; on the contrary, he is a vigorous old man, very much alive, and resides at Port Huron, Michigan." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
