[LB027358], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Lewis Miller, December 11th, 1888

Item

Abstract

"Mr. Edison has read the attached correspondence and asks me to say in reply that, he does not care to write anything for publication. He makes it a rule never to attach his name to articles relating to his own work, and it would not be possible to prepare an article such as the Seeger and Guernsey people desire, without referring to Mr. Edison's efforts in connection with the late advances made in electrical science." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
