- [LB027896], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Chicago Edison Co, Frank Sanford Gorton, January 24th, 1889
- Editor's Notes
- "I am in receipt of your letter of 19th instant, stating that your Company proposes to build a new Station for residence Lighting, which you desire to feed from your present Station during light run. I cannot understand how you propose to accomplish this, for the reason that, unless I am mistaken, the heavy run on both Stations will come just about the same time. Kindly send me data showing the run of your present Station and the anticipated run of the Station which you propose erecting for residence lighting. I will then write you further on the subject." Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
