"I beg to acknowledge receipt of your letter of 25th instant, enclosing certificate for 250 shares of Edison Spanish Colonial Light Co. stock, - No. 1, 167 shares; No. 2.83 shares transferred to me by G.P. Lowrey, Trustee, under agreement between myself and others and the said G.P. Lowrey, Trustee, dated May 3d, 1882, relating to the issue and distribution of 500 shares of the said capital stock. ### I enclose herewith my receipt for 250 shares, and also enclose certificate No. 2 for 83 shares, transfer of which I have executed to Porter, Lowrey, Soren and Sone, in accordance with my memorandum of assignment under date May 3, 1882."
