Editor's Notes

"Mr. Edison has received your letter of 10th inst. And asks me to any in reply that in about six weeks the phonograph will be introduced into China and Japan by our Agents, Messrs. Frazar & Co., No. 124 Water St., New York City. This firm has full control of the phonograph in those countries, and your suggestion in regard to the Imperial University will be conveyed to them. Mr. Edison asks me to say further that as soon as we are turning out phonographs in sufficiently large numbers to, relieve the present pressure, he will see what can be done in regard to furnishing you with one for your physical cabinet."
