Abstract

"The arrangement with Mr. McAllister was made with Mr. Edison himself, and the latter tells me that McAllister agreed to send the views out here and let them remain until they were examined. No limit was placed upon the time during which we were to keep them. Mr. Edison says that if McAllister cannot leave the views in accordance with this arrangement, we will return them all to him at once. I have written McAllister and will advise you as soon as I receive a reply." A.O. Tate
