Title
[LB028443], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to William Dennis Marks, February 28th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I am very much obliged for your letter of 27th instant. I do not wish a complete set of blue prints of your installation, but should like to have about fifteen, covering the principal parts of your building and equipment. In order that you may understand my request, I will say that I am very desirous of assisting the efforts which are now being made by my friends in England to advance Central Station electric lighting, and the plans which I have asked you for are to form a part of the data which I am personally getting together to send across the water. I do not wish you to do anything which you may consider inconsistent, but perhaps you can see your way clear to assist me in this matter. I will, of course, hear any expense which may be incurred." Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
