Title
[LB028518], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to South Kensington Museum, March 5th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"At the coming Paris Exposition I am going to make an exhibit of all my inventions and desire to include the original Phonograph which I had the honor some years ago to place in the South Kensington Museum. ### This letter will be handed to you by Mr. W.J. Hammer who has charge of my Paris exhibit, and I would be pleased if you would kindly permit Mr. Hammer to take the Phonographs mentioned to Paris to remain there during the Exposition after which it will be restored to its present surroundings. ### Appreciating any courtesies which you may extend, ### I beg to remain, yours truly," [signed] TAE
