Title
[LB028540], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Edison Lamp Co, Francis Robbins Upton, March 7th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I enclose herewith copy of a communication which we have just received from the Allegemeine Elektricitates-Gesellschaft, in regard to the sale of electric lighting material in China and Japan. I forward this to you for your information. Kindly do not take any action, in any direction whatsoever, in connection with this matter without first consulting me, as I have a plan laid for bringing a certain influence to bear upon the German Company which cannot be carried out at the moment, but which I hope will prove effective when the time comes. Meanwhile, matters must remain exactly as they are at the present moment." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
