Title
[LB028549], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Henry Villard, March 7th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"Replying to your letter of 6th instant, in which you ask the name of my agent in Germany who is authorized to sell phonographs, I beg to say that Col. George E. Gouraud, Little Menlo, Upper Norwood, Surrey, England, is my General Agent for all countries outside the United States and Canada. I am not aware that Col. Gouraud has a representative in Germany as yet, but I know that at the present time he is engaged in covering all the territory under his direction." Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
