Title
[LB028553], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to A B Laurence, March 7th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"In reference to your letter of 6th instant, I beg to inform you that our Mr. Hammer, who has charge of Mr. Edison's exhibit at the Paris Exposition, sailed yesterday on the steamer 'Germanic' for London, and we have no data here from which we could ascertain the length of the belt that you refer to. After Mr. Hammer's arrival at the other side, he intends to remain in London a few days before proceeding to Paris, and a cable addressed to him, c/o 'Gouraud Norwood,' would reach him. After that his address will be 'Edison Exhibit, Machinery Palace, Paris Exposition.'" Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
