Title

[LB028642], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to William Preston Hix, March 14th, 1889

Editor's Notes

"I return herewith letter to yourself from General Beauregard. For the past fortnight Mr. Edison has been working night and day. When your message came over, in regard to Colonel Andrews, Mr. Edison had not his clothes off for nearly a week and was so thoroughly exausted [sic] that he did not feel capable of entertaining a visitor. I write you this explanation in case you may not have understood the matter thoroughly over the telephone."
