"Your letter of 20th instant is at hand. On the same day I wrote you, in reply to your communication of 17th inst., stating that you need anticipate no delay in the equipment of your office at Allegheny City, and that we would be in readiness to proceed with the work upon receipt of notice from you. ### I am shipping today, per Adams Express, a complete set of phonoplex instruments to Allegheny City, in accordance with shipping directions contained in your letter under reply. The to-side jar, porous [unclear], zincs &c. for battery will go forward tomorrow. Do you desire us to supply you with chromic acid? Mr. Logue has already been communicated with, and he will get to Allegheny City in time to have the office in working order by 1st of April." Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
