- "I have Mr. Salvage's inquiry relative to the phonograph, addressed to the Edison United M'f'g. Co., and note your remarks thereon. ### All communications in regard to the phonograph in the United States and Canada should be referred to the North American Phono. Co., No. 160 [?] Broadway, New York. The sale of the phonograph in the rest of the world, excepting China and Japan, is controlled by Col. Geo. E. Gouraud, Little Menlo, Upper Norwood, Surrey, England, the instrument in China and Japan being in the hands of Messrs. Fraser & Co., 124 Water St., New York."
