Title
[LB029353], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Francis Robbins Upton, May 10th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"Here is another letter from Armstrong, Knauer & Co. in regard to advertising in the Official Gazette of the Paris Exposition. The advertisement which they suggest I do not like. As the display which we are making at Paris goes before the world as Edison's personal exhibit, the less reference he makes to himself in the Catalogue, the will his taste appear. How would it do to simply enlarge his autograph and put it across the sheet, in the way these people have written the name of Edison?" Yours very truly, A.O. Tate
