"With reference to the work of the Edison Light Co which you hold as collateral for a loan to me, I shall be glad if you will deposit this stock with yourselves as trustees under the Circular of the General Edison Electric Co. dated April 26th 189: and hold the trust certificates received in exchange as collateral in the place of the Edison Light Co.
