Title

[LB029383], Letter from Thomas Maguire (Edison Employee) to Edwin M Fox, May 13th, 1889

Editor's Notes

"Mr. Edison has read your letter under date 11th inst., relative to proposed article on the Edison Exhibits at the Paris Exposition, and in reply asks me to state that all the data which you would require in preparation of this article has been sent to Paris. He says, however, that if you will come over to the Laboratory we may be able to help you out in the matter, although it would be somewhat difficult, the statistics &c. not being available for reference, and in furnishing you with the necessary information we would have to rely, more or less, on our memory. I might also add that Mr. Edison's Private Secretary, Mr. Tate, is at present in Boston, and is not expected to return to Orange until Thursday next. I would, therefore, suggest that you defer your visit until the latter's return, as he could doubtless render you much assistance in your work." Yours truly, Thomas Maguire
