Abstract

"Replying to your personal letter to Mr. Edison of 27th inst., with which you enclosed copy of correspondence from Mr. P. S. Dyer, with relation to Siemens cable, Mr. Edison says that we ought to keep the report of Director F. Uppensorn, as it practically confirms Mr. Edison's opioin of the Siemens cable, namely, that it is good electrically, but dfective mechanically. I have filed the copes of this correspondence while you weren't in this office.
