Title
[LB030236], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Arthur Edwin Kennelly, June 5th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I enclose herewith statement and vouchers in connection with the Edison Birthday Fund, which I have been delayed in making up owing to my not having been able to get the bills for work done in the Laboratory until within the last few days. These Laboratory bills amount to $89.37. As we had a balance on hand of [unclear] $18.25, I have allowed a rebate on this bill of $21.12, so as to just short the whole of the fund, and this relieve us of the embarrassment of either a surplus or a deficit. After you have examined these, will you kindly hand them to Mr. Ott, and he will be good enough to pass them to Mr. Wangemann, who in turn will pass them to Mr. Dickson. [Unclear] I have named all the Committee, if my recollection, [unclear]." Yours truly, A.O. Tate
