- Editor's Notes
- "Wangemann told me this morning that you had instructed him to engage passage to Europe on Saturday next 15th inst and went to N.Y. to secure it. I have telegraphed you for instruction in view of your proposed absence. If you want Wangemann to go I can give him the necessary letters to Gouraud and Hammer. I presume you want the former to arrange facilities for Wangemann to get records outside of Paris. If you write me tomorrow a few words outlining your ideas I will prepare the letters—or I can give him a letter to Hammer and the Gouraud letter can follow by next steamer." Yours AO Tate [after signature: "All Gouraud's material went today Baldwins Express S.S. City of Paris. Cylinders sent exactly as you directed and instructions as dictated by you." AOT]
