"I enclose herewith agreement for the sale of property between the executors of Chas. Farrand and Thos. A. Edison, dated May 28d, 1889, which I told you yesterday I would forward you, to that you could have the surveyors run the lines of all the property which Mr. Edison is purchasing and has purchased in Silver Lake. The deed for the Ropes property, upon which Mrs. Ropes has a mortgage, was given Mr. Ropes with all the other papers, to be placed in your hands, and I am under the impression that you will find it somewhere in your files. If out, I wish you would ask Mr. Ropes for it. When these lines are being [unclear], Mr. Edison is particularly desirous of having the dividing lines between the township of Bloomfield and Belleville, which cuts about the [unclear] of the Farrar and Kent properties, stated out in such a way that we can [unclear]. The surveyors [rest of page is unclear, leave for editors]. As seen as these [unclear], please have a [unclear] and correct [unclear]. Yours very truly, A.O.
