Title
[LB030452], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to George Edward Gouraud, June 18th, 1889
Editor's Notes
"I enclose herewith copy of a letter addressed to myself by Mr. Thomas B. Connery, under date May 10th, 1889, together with copies of two letters, addressed by me to Mr. Thomas B. Connery, under date May 28th, 1889, marked A and B., respectively; also copy of letter addressed by me to Mr. Connery, dated June 18th, 1889 , and marked C. The joint letter addressed to Mr. Connery by you and myself was not dated. It was signed by me on the 7th day of November, 1888. Mr. Connery desired me to fix the date from which would run the period of three calendar months allowed him to obtain from the Government of Mexico an exclusive license &c., and letter B was written for the purpose of fixing that date. Letter C is a communication which I have addressed to Mr. Connery for the purpose of supplying an omission in letter B, that otherwise might render the letter a little ambiguous." Yours very truly, [signed] TAE
