"With relation to the Westman furnace Company, I have a letter from the Secretary, for Stromberg, in which he states that Mr. Westman holds about [unclear] of the share capital of the Company, the remainder, up to 50%, being divided between Mr. Stromberg and sub-promoters. Stromberg mentions 30 or 40 shares of stock which he thinks he could find, at par. Mr. Edison does not care to purchase these shares at present, believing that if he wants any more of the stock, it can be bought for less money later on." Yours truly, AO Tate
