- "Referring to your letter of 2nd instant addressed to Mr. Edison, the form of agreement which you enclosed therein was taken by him, and he said that he would talk to you about it the next time he sees you. ### With reference to yours of the 3rd, we enclose you the papers you ask for, duly executed by Mr. Edison and his wife. They have not been sworn to before a Notary, but we presume that you want them for some immediate purpose, and therefore send them to you as they are.
