- Editor's Notes
- "I beg to advise you that I have in the German National Bank of Newark $1261.00 and I will need to meet Pay Rolls on Saturday at least $1800 but should have a little more in the Bank to meet drafts if any comes in. ### I would like to make a suggestion and that is this. I have two notes from the Edison Phonograph Works amounting to $11000.00 and as the German National Bank of Newark hold none of the Edison Phonograph Works paper from Mr. Edison I think they would discount it for Mr. Edison. ### If this meets with your approval I will take same to Mr. Douglass the Cashier and see what I can do." Yours truly, John F. Randolph
