- "Referring to your favor of the 10th inst I beg to enclose you herewith the following statements. ### $151,000.00 which has been discounted by Mr. Chapman and payable at the Orange National Bank. ### 75,000.00 which has been discounted by Mr. Chapman and payable at the Third National Bank of New York. ### 11,000.00 payable at Orange National Bank which is held by Mr. Edison and is in our Safe. ### The Bank Balances of the Edison Phonograph Works this morning are German National Bank $12596.73 ### Orange National Bank 9781.64 ### Total $22,378.37 ### You will notice from the enclosed Statements that there is due on Saturday next at the Orange National Bank $20000.00 and on Monday at the same bank 30,000.00 ### Mr. Insull has given me permission to be absent from the Laboratory on Wednesday and if there is anything you wish done by me on that day please let me know so I can do it on Tuesday and greatly oblige."
