"I beg to enclose you herewith check for $139.35 in payment of your account. ### In future do not give anyone a lunch or dinner to be charged against me without an order from here signed either by Mr. Batchelor Mr Ott or Mr. [unclear] Miller and when you receive an order from here for a lunch or a dinner it does not include thirty cents worth of Beer and a quarter worth of Cigars to be charged against me as has been done in the past. Any Beer or Cigars to be charged against me you will receive an order for. ### I wish you to be very strict in regard to the above and not deliver anything without an order as I will refuse to receive a bill if you have not an order for each item on the Bill."
